subject line: the notebook.

As soon as you and I decided that we wanted to get married, I bought a notebook and started writing our journey down. I wanted to remember all of it — the good and the bad, and the way we loved each other through it. A few months later we agreed that maybe we weren’t the best fit for each other and decided to part ways, and I debated if I should stop writing about us or not.

Anyways, here we are, almost a year and a half later and I still write in that same notebook. I think the only reason I never stopped was that writing to and about you is my last and only way to not lose you.

So if there ever comes a day when you come back, maybe we can finish the story. Together.
